A simple activity was conducted by the DILG-CAR personnel in celebration of the 2019 Local Government Month at the Sen. Nene Pimentel Hall.

Q&A on local government and the Department's PPAs were asked to be answered through a game-based quiz platform initiated by LGMED Stat II Danilo A. Azarcon, Jr. Simple tokens were given to the game winners, awarded by FAD Chief Shirley Evangeline V. Mon and LGCDD Division Chief Daisy A. Payang

"Matino, Mahusay at Maaasahan"

 

An interfacing activity was conducted on October 16, 2019 at the Sen. Nene Pimentel Function Room, attended by Local Chief Executives (LCEs), department heads and representatives from the Provinces of Abra, Benguet and Ifugao.

The activity aims to provide participants with common understanding on the prioritization process and allocation criteria of SAgana at LIgtas Na TUBIG para sa Lahat (SALINTUBIG) and Assistance to Municipalities (AM). These topics were discussed by Engr. IV Nelia Almelo and Project Manager I Rogelio Ocampo of DILG-Central Office.

DILG-CAR personnel attends the three-day training on Basic Incident Command System. conducted by OCD-CAR, through its Incident Management Team at the Se. Nene Pimentel Hall, Baguio City from October 9-11, 2019.

The training aims to develop and capacitate each participant on proper and timely response and to better understand and appreciate ICS which has been proven effective in managing potential and actual disaster consequences.
